Having fished all over the world I can honestly say Teemu and his team have made this into a top class angling lodge a stones throw from the river. Meals are geared to maximise fishing times and tailored to suit the requirements of each group. Both Teemu and I understand that different groups will have different requirements,  so prices are adjusted to suit.An unusual feature in Norway is one that the river closes from midnight untill 6am each day. Allowing both anglers and fish to have some down time!

The river itself is a medium sized river that flows from south to north carrying glacial water from the mountains all the way to the fjords.

This normally keeps the river at a cold temperature, in fact, warm weather usually brings down extra snow melt and a rise in water levels!!! A unique experience in itself. This water carries a slightly grey/turquoise colour which really helps in bright weather, and allows the anglers to fish with confidence even in strong sunshine. The river is noted for its large three sea winter salmon and regularly produces fish around the 20kg mark. These fish usually appear from the start of the season on the 15th of June...with the run peaking at the start of July. Also from the start of July  grilse and medium (two sea-winter salmon) start to arrive. As the river is quite short it doesn't take long for the each pool to hold good numbers of fish. With the water being generally quite cold, sinking lines of various descriptions are the mainstay. The river is also quite rocky, so being quite technical in nature a good selection of lines is a must if you want to fish effectively.  These fish run big, and a suitable reel carrying 300m- 400m of backing is a must.
